Be careful if you buy the slotted chrome shifter lever part no. 34555-01, it fits tightly and during a recent 300 mi trip it prevented me from downshifting, taking off in 3rd gear in heavy traffic is no fun. yesterday I reinstalled my original shifter arm and no problems, it fits 'loosely' and works fine, I am going to shop to get replacement, at $176.95 I believe they will replace it, but just an fyi item, Even if you take it off and lube it it is only a temporary fix.
