slipons with no popping means not lean?

06 Ultra with sharkfin exhaust off a 2000 SE Roadglide. I put these on for alittle more noise. I'm not getting any popping on decel. Does this mean I'm not running to lean. What signs should I be looking for on the plugs for lean condition. thanks

its an 06------you are lean.
I guess my question would be if I have no signs of engine running too lean i.e. popping on decel, plugs running hot. My concerns of causing engine damage with these pipes is decreased because I'm running with in normal range. Would there be anything else to keep an eye on without having to dyno my bike?
how many miles do you have on the '06? and what do the stock mufflers look like?...any soot on them?
the reason i ask is, MOCO reprogrammed my ECM to richen it up, along with cvo injectors.
the '06's built around Oct/later were supposed to have this already done at the factory...mine was built in Aug.

The proof is always in the pudding when It comes to how your bike runs. Now, I'm not saying it couldn't be running a little lean, just that if there is no indication of it, you aren't hurting it.

Example: You can have a motor jetted/running rich that still farts like it's lean because of poor mixture quality (air fuel not mixing, or separating in the chamber) the flame front in the chamber is getting snuffed before it's done burning. Maybe the 06 heads have been improved in that regard? I'm sure H-D took all that into account with the re-design to improve swirl and tumble within the chamber to allow for better mixing and leaner running. I know the line of sight approach to the intake valves is different on the new heads so your observations doesn't surprise me at all.

You are probably good as long as you haven't used a Stage 1 A/C also. Shark Fin (fish tails) are usually restrictive anyway.
