I have a 2007 Street glide and I am getting ready to have a set of sliders chromed. I was looking in the parts book and noticed different part numbers for fairing and non-fairing models. I have a set of sliders for a non-fairing model and they look exactly like the ones for the fairings. Anyone know the difference?

On the fairing models, they use a cartridge in one tube, and conventional spring and dampener tube in the other.

So, the non-fairing legs are not going to work on my bike?

I would have thought that the lowers were the same.............let us know when you find out, the stealer should be able to help.

PS>> could it be different due to the holes for mounting the right caliper.........the softtails that use the same front end do not use a 2 caliper setup on the front..................??

Will do. I think they are going to be the same. I found some info on changing the cartridge out.
