Don't. That's some of the info that is obsolete. If you want the slide to raise quicker use a spring from a CV44.
Slide modification
Hey everyone,
I followed the nightrider.com steps for the CV carburetor modifications, and everything has gone very well. I will be re-jetting today (parts store was closed yesterday).
I was wondering if I need to do the modification to the slide (drill the vacuum port hole to 1/8") or not? I do not really know what I will gain or lose by doing this step.
Any help will be appreciated.
