service manuals
You can order the Clymer manual off the web and/or suck it up and order one of the factory manuals from a dealer (some will give 20% off).
I have both Clymer and factory manuals and the parts manual for my bikes. The Clymer and Factory manuals really supplement each other in certain areas. In some areas the factory manual doesn't go into a lot of detail and the Clymer does and vice versa.
Spending one hundred to one hundred and fifty dollars to learn how to take care of a twenty thousand dollar (plus or minus) motorcycle is a good investment.
