I just bought a 2011 Electra Glide Limited FLHTK. First of all, allow me to say, "What a beautiful machine!" This is an incredible motorcycle. I'm a fair weather rider, but I had to get this bike out of the garage and onto the road. I never thought I'd be riding a motorcycle across a dam and looking at the frozen water of a nearby large lake in under 40 degree weather, but I was. Anyway, to my question. I hate the seat straps on all motorcycle seats. The seat strap is usually the first thing to go when I get a new bike. However, on this FLHTK, while the seat strap can be undone on the left side of the seat by removing a screw, on the right side of the seat, the strap appears to be permanently mounted to the right side saddle bag mount bracket. Any suggestions on the easiest way to remove that strap? Thanks.
