Help... Having a heck of a time removing the seat to my 06 softail standard...
rear seat mounting bolt removes easily.. cant get it unhooked from the front... installing a leather tank panel in place of the plastic stock... any tips, suggestions.....

I've popped seats off a number of timeson 3 different HD's, usually you have to slightly flex it , there is a tang on the seat that fits a slot , once you remove the bolt a little flex and wiggle usually frees it

If it has a grab strap, you'll have to flex the seat a little and take off the nut that holds it on under the seat. 9/16" I think. At least that is what I had to do on my lowrider. Good luck
