Would the SE Big Bore Intake manifold (part #29635-99) help in the 95" build I'm doing, or is it overkill?

It's listed primarily for 44CV and 45 Mikuni's but can be used with the HSR 42

The rest of the build is :
SE cast flat tops
SE Perf Heads with cometic .030
Mik 42 carb
TW31G cam

I used the SE Big bore intake manifold when I did my 95" build with 42mm Mikuni. I figured it can't hurt because (I've heard) that Twin Cams are very sensitive to intake restrictions. Never compared it to the standard manifold, but I'm at 104hp/108torque so figure it must be OK.

From what I understand is that stock intakes on mild 95" builds are rarely a problem as to HP. If anything you will gain a little up high and lose some down low as the velocity in the intake is reduced. I ran a 37G/Deweys ProStreets/95 and did not have the impression the stock intake would be a limiting factor.

Sounds right , like the mik 42 vs 45 , as I want to be torque biased I'l stay with the stock manifold. Thanks .
