I believe this thread still belongs to "Exhaust Discussions" and the question is addressed first of all to Totenkopf (Deadhead), since he is obviously very informed and experienced related to this issue.

So, on my H-D Road King Classic 2001, I am about to have Stage One Kit mounted (29489-99C : Screamin' Eagle Air cleaner + 32708-99B : Calibration Cartridge). Since my SE Perf. Muffs. 65115-98 are damaged, I am about to remove them and to mount Pig Pipes.

What do you think, can I keep SE Calibration Cartridge, or I am supposed to buy Power Commander?

Side by side with the comments of Totenkopf, I am looking forward to hearing opinion and experience of other folks from this forum.

Thanks in advance.

With stock engine you should have no problem with your calibration cartridge even if you change pipes.

I would suggest you to try the pipes first and to see the bike rides fine.

ciao...
