Hi I was looking around to upgrade my Dyna Superglidento 103ci or 110 ci. More inclined towards the 110ci even though it requires case machining. I've seen a couple of times on Ebay and other places the the heads were taken out becuase of "the recall"..! What is th deal with that recall. I have no recollection of hearing about any recall. Any suggestions on a components combination for my project. Thanks

I used a takeoff set of CVO heads on a 96 to a 103 conversion with SE257 cams.
Polished and ported the heads, reconditioned the seats and valves, New guides, seals.
I have 3000 miles on them so far and runs great. good power and torqe in the upper RPMs (above 3000) love this setup and have had no problems this far.
I also am not aware of a recall.

The earlier heads had the problems, the new heads are corrected so there will not be any problems

I have an '08. The recall was because of premature wear on the valve guides. There was also an ACR replacement.
