Hey guys I have been running this v111" for about 2500 miles now and figured it was time for a dyno run. This is a stock crate motor running a Super G carb rather than a Super E which usually comes stock. It is running the S&S single-fire ignition which I believe is a rebranded Crane hi-4. Exhaust is a Bassani "Road rage" II, 2 into 1.
Baseline test had a 80 main and 31 intermediate jet. The bike was running lean and the curve was all over the place. You can see the results in BLUE
In the second run, the 80 was swapped for an 84 and the intermediate was bumped up to a 32.
End results (in RED) are 127.82 torque and 116.22 hp. Numbers are similar to those published by S&S which is surprising, I expected them to inflate the numbers a little to drive sales. I am happy with the results. Note that these motors make peak torque in the 3.75-4k RPM range which is right where I like to sit (with the exception of cruising). Plenty of power coming out of these motors.
