It would be more cost effective to just bore out your existing cylinders. It has been done for years with no problems. I can help. dsv

I have the 97" kit, It's a decent kit and the bike runs like a rapped ape, but if I would have done the research I would have gone a different route. GMR has a better kit for less money. Go to a 98" with good cam and head work, you won't regret it.

S&S says you can't bore the stock cylinders to 3.927" because the stock cylinder liner material is weaker than S&S. S&S uses a different material for the liner so I can safely be bored that big. Stock cylinders are fine to be bored to 3.875, but not 3.927.
