My new sled is a 2006 FXDI SuperGlide. This is my "Stage 1" - I've already removed the plugs stopping up the stock slip-ons. No downside to this mod. stock ECM is fine with it. My next "I'm snowed in so what do i change mod" will be a #1 Screaming Eagle air cleaner with the "no wash paper" filter, or #2 the K&N air cleaner and K&N "oiled filter" or #3 the Screaming Eagle filter backing plate and the K&N "oiled filter".
along with the ECM down load upgrade. So which is best for a daily rider street bike #1, #2, #3 ? :chopper:
Stage #2
After the 88ci motor gets to boring I'm going to build a 95ci street motor with
bored 88 jugs, weisco 9.5to1 95ci pistons, "street port & flow the stock 88 heads " .010 over intake and .030 over ext. valves, not sure on which cams yet. Screaming Eagle race tuner for engine management, Barrnet clutch, and a true high flow ext. system. :chopper:
Useful Ideas?
