Rub a dub scrubs, posers, yuppies

What ever you want to call it. I think it’s nuts that anyone anywhere anytime cant wear what they want. The idea that a real biker doesn’t wear HD clothing etc… is ridiculous.
For me I hate to shop, don’t go to the mall don’t go to walmart. When I buy clothes though I tend to buy stuff that represents my interests. So you might see me wearing a HD shirt, a NASCAR Shirt, a NHRA Shirt, a Fender Guitar Shirt, a Hendrix Shirt, Bob Dylan Shirt, Red Sox Shirt…….. …………………… Does that make me a Rub a dub scrubs, posers, yuppie I don’t know and don’t really care. Often the shirt I am wearing sparks a conversation with someone I dont know.
I might as well buy clothes that show what I am into then buy no name stuff that is blank. To me clothes are an opportunity to express your interests. So to wear a blank shirt because you are really in to HD is like retarded. My first leather jacket was plain because that was all I could afford, but I always wanted a HD Jacket.
What’s wrong with that? Get a life man........

I guess I came across too strong here its all in fun I dont care what you wear if you are a biker or not. Beacause I dont know what a real biker is and I probably am not one myself. The clue was this was in response to Dirty Jims post and if you didnt know Dirty Jim well then...............
I dont care if you wear blank shirts either. Some days I do too.
Reminds me though one time when I was in Vegas I won some money so being from Maine I went over the the HD Dealership and bought a bunch of goodies to bring home. Bought a few friends some shirts too. One of my friends asked why I didnt get him one too, I said you never wear HD shirts, even though he is the oldest HD rider I know. Should have bought him a blank one I guess.
Never had a G Unit shirt either
Rub a dub scrubs........how serious can that be ???

Hey real bikers dont have insurance and they probably ripped their plates off of someone else's bike. Their bikes arent even registered.
Why would you go into the Motor Vehicle Dept when you are on the wanted poster in the back of the room? ;!pstwhore

Hey I wrote to the Town Manager last spring because they were changing the noise ordinance in our town. I was concerned and wanted to be sure that it would not affect us riders. I also tried to explain to him that loud pipes save lives.

Now I’ve gone and done it… I have officially become a poser.

I know I had been bending the Biker rules and regulations in the past by wearing HD dealer t-shirts and had really pushed the limits by wearing HD jeans. But I made up for my RUB indiscretions with the truck I drove, a 97 Blazer which I never cleaned, it had some good scratches, some dents, no HD stickers at all, no reverse or second gear (figured my bike didn’t have reverse so why should my car), and windshield wipers that would only turn on when they were dry. I drove this truck without reverse for 3 solid years, I didn’t put a dime into it and I only put 8K on the cage (all miles going forward only) but an average of 20-25K on the bike… I was in good compliance with the biker code with room to spare. But now I think I have crossed over completely and most likely left out in the cold for good. While skipping out from work early the other day I was driving my truck home to grab the bike, I was passing the row of new car dealers, something came over me and I pulled in, jockeyed for a position to park where I didn’t need reverse to leave and eyed a beautiful pearl while Cadillac CTS. 2 hours later I was waving bye to my trusty biker friendly blazer as I left the lot in the Caddy.

Now last night I was out cruising on the bike, met up with my girl and decided to go grab something to eat. She was wearing only a little tank top and would have been too cold on the bike so we jumped in the car and off we went. After a Chillis big mouth burger and a margarita we decided to stop at a friends new bar, a real biker place, you could still smell the burnt carpet matting from the bikes that had pulled hole shots in the bar the night prior. It was early and only a couple of peeps inside so I parked the car in front and went in just to say hi and have 1 beer. Well 1 turned into many with shots in between, the place filled up, bikes lined the street in front and I was half in the bag. Then it happened, an announcement over the PA asking whoever owns the shiny white Cadillac to please move it to make rooms for more bikes. The place went silent as I strolled towards the door still wearing all my bike riding attire (complete with a dealer shirt) while pressing the little alarm fob activating the headlights. The looks I got… then it hit me… what a RUB, a Poser, driving a Caddy posing as a biker.

Good thing none of the VTF biker patrol were there, I would have been asked to hand over my biker edition Man card on the spot. I guess it could have been worse, it could have been a Lexus or a Range Rover.
There is no excuse for this type of behavior. I hope your head is hanging low. I would have made her go out and move it
