Hi all,, looking at a new cam shaft and want to make sure I get one that fits the way I ride,, I have a 05 Springer Classic, and was wondering what RPM the bike is turning during normal 2 up cruising at 60-85 MPH cruising:chopper:

It depends what gearing you have , with 3.15 :
RPM 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th
2600 19.4 28.2 39.6 50.9 62.1
2800 20.9 30.4 42.6 54.8 66.9
3000 22.4 32.6 45.7 58.8 71.7
3200 23.9 34.8 48.7 62.7 76.5
3400 25.4 36.9 51.7 66.6 81.2
3600 26.9 39.1 54.8 70.5 86.0

with a 3.37

Steve, if you have the service manual, it will have all the gear numbers and primary teeth numbers. Goto nightrider.com and there is a section on mph/rpm. You can plug in all the numbers and get a chart to print out for rpm/gear/mph.{salute(

look for something in a high lift short duration
Check Andrews for a bolt in.

95 BAD BOY that is my top choice right now that or maybe a Kury TC 1or2, just not sure if the andrews 37 or the Kury TC2 would be to big with the bike not having a Big Bore kit in it. I want as big as I can go but dont want to go over board.
