Bike of the month

Carrie,

Here are some photos of my 2001 Indian Scout. Some of the things that have been done is starting with:

PM Wheels, Rotors, pulley, rotors and brakes.
Mean Street forks.
Fat Drag Bars
Billet Controls
250 Rear Tire
Lowering Kit

Coming up this all I am planning on making another rear fender so I can accomidate another person as well as adding bags. I plan on keeping the fender that is on it now as well so I can have the option of crusing the town or heading down the highway. It is either that or I will trade it for a bagger.

Now that's a good look'n scoot Avid! Welcome to the forum. May I suggest getting that bike out one more time for a good picture. Of the whole bike. That will definately help your cause. You have plenty of time. I'll be posting it ther first of the month. :)

And the story:
What can I say, my dad always had and rode Harley's and I want to follow suit. He had to sell his last one when I was a kid (family needs). He always wanted to get another one through the years, but just couldn't get the funds together to pull it off. This is actually my first street bike (rode dirt bikes). I wish my dad was here today to see the bike, but then I would have to fight him for ride time... I have done all the customizing and wrenching myself and hope to keep it that way (another inherited trait from dad). I really like the '50s hotrod look, so I tried to incorporate that into my Hotrod Bagger (black, chrome, flames, chopped windshield, low stance, dual exhaust, and '39 Ford blue-dot tailights).
