Just bought a new FLHR. Purchased new bars and don't really know how to get the cover off the top of the clamps. This cover also houses the keylock for the forks. Any suggestions? Thanks, slickkenny

Do like David said and take the headlite bucket out. Pry the cover off the fork lock to get to the rear cover screws. The front nut and bolt for the cover is the main PIA. The trick is not to remove it. Loosen it just enough so you can rotate the cover over the nacelle (make sure you put a thick towel over the nacelle so it does not get scratched). If you take the bar clamp blocks off before the controls, you can just slide these off the bars as opposed to disassemble them, and you save yourself all the adjustments. Piece of cake.
