A freind bought a set of rineharts for his softail which is a 07 model, the pipes have no o2 sensor ports so he just removed them and tied them up, yhe bike runs fine but the engine light comes on some, I told him that I wouldn't run it that way until I got a PCIII put on.
What do you think it would do to it, burn it up I would think, what do you think.

I put about 4000 miles on my 06 Dyna with the TWinscan II and wego system With this system the O2 sensors are removed and the Twinscan sensors are in place. Just secured the stock sensors so they would't jump all over the place. The engine light would come on and system would register a diagnostic code. No other problems running it this way. I was however running an open loop map, which to my understanding the eliminate the sensors effect on fuel supply. I don't know what the effect would be if he is running a closed loop, where the sensor input is effecting the fuel mixture.
