Sounds like maybe the Local81Patch is directing people to the wrong group. Chambers of Commerce are groups of businesses, not government authorities.

You need to get at the Mayor or City Council or City Manager (not sure how Palm Springs is set up) who would be the ones giving the cops direction.

To any of you who think Local81Patch sent us in the wrong direction, THINK AGAIN.

This is about MONEY and The Chamber is the one that answers to the local bussiness owners. It is THEY the local bussiness owners that will suffer because of the lame assed direction their City is taking.

All I was suggesting was that the letters would be better aimed at the people in city government who made the decision. I never said the chamber of commerce didn't have a vested (no pun intended) interest in the decision.

They are both important.
