First, induce slack in the cable. Slide the rubber boot up from the mid-point of the cable, then - using a 9/16" and 1/2" wrench - loosen the jam nut, then fully loosen the adjustment. Next, remove the snap ring from the underside of the clutch lever bracket and push the retaining pin up out of the bracket. Pull on the cable sheath so it comes clear of the bracket, then bring it towards you so the cable comes out through the channel in the bracket. Now bring the lever out of the bracket, then remove the nylon pin that hold the cable eye in the lever. Reverse the process to re-install, being careful when replacing the lever in the bracket to not damage the plastic anti-rattle spring on the bottom of the lever.
