I have a 05 Softail Deluxe, on top of the rear fender is a clear scratch guard that saves the fender from scratches associated with the passenger seat. Suggestions on removal. Do I need to heat it or use WD40 to safely remove?

I just peeled it off, (carefully), and used a little denatured alcohol to get rid of the sticky. Some BOMBs to shine things up and ready to rock and roll. Took 10 minutes.

just peel it off slowly, reverse it and stick to the bottom of your passenger pad. That way the protection for the fender is still there
