I noticed my SEIIs had moved back about 1/2 inch on the head pipe in under 200 miles. Rivets or no rivets, check to make sure your stuff is tight!

Thats the reason i always recomend cleaning/detailing a bike regularly. You will skip over stuff if you just randomly look, but if you take your time to wash,dry,and wax you will see everything. I know my 05 FLHTC when i wash it I take my seat,saddle bags, side covers off. After i clean every I "know" my bike inside and out. The mufflers sliding back is also real common on dressers as well....
