I finally received the recall notice for the fairing mounted mirrors on my StG. It affects the bikes built between June 27th and August 15th. HD gives you the option of having the fairing replaced or mirrors repositioned on the existing fairing. You can also be reimbursed if you already had something done to correct the problem prior to the recall announcement. Parts should be available at the dealerships by November 7th. There is also a warning about riding the bike with the condition.

I bought an 06 Street Glide that was built at the end of Aug. My mirrors are fine so your info. at least in my case appears to be accurate. Regards, Al
