A few days ago someone wanted the link to the website where you can select categories to subscribe for recall notifications.

The website opems just fine from the link on the e mail.

Read around, I think the automotive link is the one that includes motorcycles.

this is the recall on the FLTRSEI.

It does remind me that the same thing happens to the non SE bikes just not to the same degree. You would be well advised to check your own bikes. The potential problem was corrected on the 02 bikes with additional protective sheating in the area in question along the right frame rail.

This recall just reminded me of another possible problem (not a safety thing). I have seen some clutch cables on high mileage bikes where the outer layer is completely rubbed thru at the point where the cable is routed underneath the cam chest cover. The cable rubs/vibrates against the cover. I just put a 2-3" piece of 3/8 rubber hose at this point and hold with a cable tie.
