I am replacing the original rear wheel on my Standard with a Fat Boy disc and I will put a 150 tyre on.
The service manual says that in order to remove the rear wheel you need to remove the rear disc brake pads.
Is it really necessary?
I'm thinking that if when I remove the wheel I put a spacer in place of the rear disc it should be ok and if I am then very careful in reinstalling the wheel, things should be fine.
What is your opinion on this?
