quick bob tank on 883C?

has anyone put a quickbob tank with a dash on the tank on an 883C ? if you have, what did you do with the dummy lights in the handlebar clamp? what about your speedo, did you switch it to a mechanical drive? i know there are kits for sportys where you can use the oem electronic speedo, but they apparently don't work with the speedo on the custom. any help would be great. thanx
