I was just wondering if some one could give me an idea of what the first 1000 mile check costs at other dealerships. My local dealer is charging $80.00 because I purchased it there. I have heard anywhere from $150.00 to almost $500.00 elsewhere. Is that true? Just wondering.

I paid around $170. I didn't know that you could do the work yourself and maintain the warranty.

for 80 bucks I'd let them do it as long as you trust them not to break something. my dealer wanted $200 so I spent the money on good oil...new torque wrenches, beer and still spent under 200.

$80. bucks hell i paid $265. only $36 was for parts oil,filter etc. the rest labor. needless to say i'll be changin' my own oil for now on.

I have a question. If you have the shop manual, does it out line what needs to be done at each service interval and what those intervals are? Thanks in advance. J.T.

yes it does. i created a checklist and posted it in the general discusion forum.do a search for service checklist see if it will help. the only changes on it are the oil and filter change i change them every service.
