I have been antsing (sp) for some Fishtails. So I just bought a set of Vance and Hines 3" fishies. Found a deal on a used set (the guy selling said they were only on the bike briefly) Got them for less the half of what a new set costs.

Should have them next week sometime, I hope they sound good.

Put a set on the wife's Heritage. Great sound with just a bit of that great Harley crackle. Plus the end caps change out if you're not happy.

Well I got them.

So as my luck goes, the fishtails I received are probably for a softail. I bought them used on ebay for an awesome price, so i decided to make them work, rather then send them back to the seller. The posting gave the part number, which I verified as the ones for 1995-2012 touring models. He said they were mounted on a 2011 road king so I figured they would be right.

I was able to get them mounted,by fabbing up some rear brackets. I think they look and SOUND awesome.

It was a bit more work then I was expecting, but they are on and I got to road test them. (WHOOO HOOOOO, nothing like a January ride)
