I picked up a 1972 Norton Commando 750 from a friend who has had it for about 30 years. It has been in his barn for the last 17.
Circumstances are that he needed to move it along. I am lucky enough to have aquired it. She needs some help, but is complete and I managed to get it running again. I am looking forward to getting it back to road worthy and putting some miles on it. It is truly a piece of history.
To clarify,
The first picture is as a fresh barn find. Bent handlebars and 17 years of dirt. The second photo is a few hours of clean up and a set of Superbike bars left over from my old KZ 900 from a former life. The paint is original as far as I know and the color is different due to the light. I put the decals back on over the shadows that you could still see in the original paint. It is still a positive ground nightmare with Lucas electrics.
