Go to the Power Commander website and try to educate yourself. There is a lot of info there, and their techs are usually willing to help as well. As winter is coming (at least where I am), it's a great time to become familiar with this sort of thing, and it's not all that difficult.
Download their canned maps (make sure to select the ones for your bike AND your year). I'll be you can download any one of those into your Power Commander. Use the "get map" feature to retrieve and save the map that's currently installed on your bike; that way you'll know where you're starting from and you won't lose it. Don't be afraid to experiment a little.
