ChopperDude- I thought it sounded kinda funny when he told me, but the results speak for themselves. It looks sharp. I don't know if Chrome Powdercoating is very common. I haven't ever asked anyone else about it.
I will probably go with black because of the heat dissapation thing. Ride safe!

Sounds cool...

I'd have to see it first, though... as well as find out how it held up over time.

That's what I was concerned with. The lifespan of such an application of powdercoated chrome on the jugs and heads. Constant heating and cooling would surely have an effect. My friends frame still looks like new chrome and he had it done about 4 years ago. I probably won't try the chrome powdercoating, but stick with what is known to work. Black!

Are you guy's talking about a powdercoating that looks like Chrome or are you talking about powdercoating on top of chrome? I powdercaoted my Thunderheader Black and it seems to be holding up well. Its a year old now with no signs of wear.
