I think that's the 6" model. There's two, one comes with the hard pad and sponge, the other comes with a sponge cover. I got the cheaper one (sponge pad) then ordered the other pad. As far as using it, it's perfect for a bike and about 50% lighter than the monster right angle buffers they use in body shops. You don't have to worry about the damn thing hitting the tin because it small enough for one hand and getting into small places. I like the variable speed best because it heated the paint enough to flow most of the orange peel out. (I just finished laying 3 coats of PPG HD clear to the front fender and fairing).
For the money it's worth it to me. I use on the pickup and car as well.
