If they aren't to deep use white jewelers rouge and high speed buffing wheel. You can get the Jewelers rouge at Sears.

Hi. It can be done no worries.
Are they just light scratches or deep? What equipment do you have?
You will need some polishing mops and compound. If they are just light surface scratches you can simply polish them out. It is a fairlt easy job but takes a little effort.
If the scraches are deepi.e they catch your finger nail then you will have to polish them out first with either an orbital, i would start off with 180 then progress to 400grit, but the finer you go with the sanding the easier it will be with the compound.
Goodluck and have fun.
