Alright guys, for most of ya all, it's cold outside. And since you can't ride the dang thang, what are your plans for accessories and modifications this winter. Me...I'm adding a few things:

A spinner pulley
air ride suspension (recommendations?)
super spoke rotors
and Z pad brakes...

ps...can't say I won't add on to the list...

03 Night Train

Carlini 1.5" Clean Sweep 7" rise drag bars
braided cables
chrome switch housings, mast cyl, controls
chrome levers
new grips
Whats a spinner pulley?
I got big plans hopefully $ holds out, tearing into engine.
Nothing else when I pull primary to repair leaking tranny, going to put chain adjuster. Less things to worry about the better.
95" bore kit
Cylinder heads ported by Baisley's
SE251 cams

Just waiting for the heads and cylinders to get back to reassemble.

$$$$$$ will be the key. already dismantled the bike. gonna powder coat the frame and various other parts, gonna rebuild the motor, all new sheet metal which obviously includes paint, new pipes, hopefully a new front end(inverted?) a new front rim, new dash style, oh and a new seat. maybe more as i go.
'05 Road King here...Just started taking it apart this week. My list...

95" with SE Hi-Comp Cast
SE211 or TW55 ( I have both)
Larger Intake Valves
porting
SE Springs

Working on custom made extended forward controls. Ditching the crash bar and foot boards.

Powder coating my Samson exhaust pipes (not the shields, the pipes themselves). I want to see what a pair of those flamed cut out heat shields look like over black pipes.

Might try to route my front brake line in my ape hangers too....

Hidden air horn and ditching that wanker looking stock horn.

'06 Deluxe, Cobalt Blue

I'm making a Dark blue (almost black) fork tool bag that hangs on the passing lights rail.
Screamin Eagle race tuner and stage 1 breather (Christmas present from my awsome wife)
Right side floor board guard, cause I'm tired of cleaning boot rubber off my pipe (I started making it today)
Beach Bars, probably Burly's.
Chrome everything on the bars.
AMSoil in all the holes.
High output bulbs for all the lights.
Just pulled the tins today for a fresh new paint job on the ol' geezer glide.:beer4u:
- chrome controls
- chrome cables
- chrome inner primary cover
- chrome front end (hopefully)

I will then spend the rest of the winter pissing and moaning about the cold weather!!!:crying:

In between rides, I'll probably get a new primary cover and horn cover. :)

Scroll the bottom for 360 degrees. Updated daily.
Long as it`s above 36' and not raining I`ll be riding! %[email protected]
For me, changing stock exhaust to something else. Love the Fatboy, Carrie! I like the length and lines of your exhaust. Are those Vance and Hines bigshots? I'm thinking of the V & H staggered or the Supertrapp Mean Mothers II std. Tough decision.
The bike is over in the corner of the garage all covered up. It's too damned cold to be doing any work on it. I'm slowly buying up chrome so when the first nice day comes I can start putting on the new stuff:

Rear foot board covers
Nostalgic air cleaner
Trim rings for head light, passing lamps, & front/rear turn signals.
Saddlebag guards
Highway pegs

That's the start of my list.
Hey there, Captain. I'm from NW Indiana. You close?

I did 7 yrs. in South Bend. I'm in Fort Wayne now. How NW are you? The Region?
Not quite the region, but close. I live between Michigan City and LaPorte. Beautiful weather here with lake effect snow and all. I just bought my ride 7 weeks ago and can't fully enjoy it...unless you like pulling the cover off in the garage and lookin' at it. I'm itching to get out.
No big plans. It's going to be about 55 degrees today, so I'm planning to get her out for a little run around town and then a stop for a little Christmas cheer.
