A new bike with no major mods should not ping inless there is a problem as EdY said. The bike is under warrenty? If you dont find a leak ( I would think that would be the #1 thing to check since you had the carb off) and everthing seems right take it to the dealer & have the MAS checked, even new ones do go bad. I take you run 91 octang min?
