Do you run highway pegs? Why or why not and if so what kind?

I don't run highway pegs for two reasons:

1. I have forward controls

2. I think they're dangerous. Flame away.

ISO-pegs mounted to the built-in highway peg mounts on my H-D crash bar. I don't use 'em around town, just on the road.

Got them on my crash bars of my Electra Glide. Got them to be able to change position on long trips. Rarely use them on local rides unless the ride involves a long stretch on a highway.

I put them on my first touring bike. Thought they'd be really good to have. Never really used them. Never bothered putting them on any bike since.

Ditto...I'm for anything that makes the ride more comfy. I have the HD 360 mounts and HD pegs.

I put some on my mustache bar because the foot rests on top were too high. I have only used mine once, on a nice stretch of highway, and love them. Helps me stretch the legs out. Can't wait to use them on a trip.

ISO pegs midway up the crash bar. Use em all the time, especially around town, keeps the gyno exam look going doncha' know. I do use them all the time, I got used to the fwd controls on my Spotster and can't get used to the mid floor boards. Around town I'm more and more using the floor boards for safety and reaction time.

I have 'em on my RK and use them all the time. It really helps to be able to stretch out on a long ride.
I have some inexpensive HD ones (I think they were $39).

I love 'em!!!! Mostly used on highways or long country roads. City riding can be a little dangerous IMHO.

I have highway pegs on my Dyna and I love them. However, I am very careful as to when I use them. Never in traffic, only on the highway. That's why they are called highway pegs...
