I have the engineers boots. Man, these things are so comfortable! (how comfortable are they?) I wear them to work! Dang. all I need is a harley T and a wallet chain and I'd look like a poser....:woohoo:

Someone told me once if you want a great fitting pair of boots, soak them in water overnight then put them on and wear them for four hours. Take them off and dry out. I have never tried it but am tempted. Anyone ever hear of this or tired it?

It's like reading it on the internet....if you heard it/read it....it must be true! :beer:

Actually there might be some truth to this BUT there is a way to stretch the leather where it needs to be stretched without taking a chance. Go to a shoe shop who has a good reputation and ask them to make it fit better!

All I know is that I am on my feet all day because I am an electrician, and I love my bates engineer boots! I now have 2 pair of them. One is for normal work and the other is for dirty or wet work. They are waterproof, but I don't wanna slosh thru mud at one house and then go to a multi million dollar house with muddy boots!:beer:
