hi all, looking for advice/opinions. i have a set of little used SE slipons from my old '99 ultra; thinking about putting them on my '08 ultra;wife likes the fishtail endcaps.

I can think of no reason not to swap them out. Go to a free breathing intake and get the stage 1 flash (or some other enrichener) and be happy.
The difference between the 08/09 and 99 SE mufflers is noise. H-D has quieted them down due to EPA demands (and fines).
