Tool is HD 46503.

But you can get a pick in there and pull that clip to remove it. First times a bittch after that it is easy.

Easy to remove the spring clip with a pick, loosen up the radiator at the bottom & Let it dangle from the top mount studs with nuts loosened, that will give you enough room to get your hands in there with the pick.

Also inspect that line end real closely. Sometimes the vibration wears a groove in them. If that is the case replace the line.

Also Harley sells the clips in case it gets screwed up using the pick.

Pull on that line on reinstall to make certain it seated and locked.

Pulled mine with just a small bladed screwdriver. A little tricky the first time after that a piece of cake. Would help if you know what they looked like. Maybe go to a dealer and see if they got one you can look at

Simple like everyone said...what I thought was the spring lock was a dust cover. Pop it out of the way and remove the simple E clip...thanks everyone
