Riding many years first Harley. I have an 02 Road King. I'm TRYING to do my first oil change. Question where is the oil drain plug? What does it look like. Sounds stupid but I see lots of bolts under there, wanna get the right one. Is there anywhere I can see a picture so I know I have the right one. Owners manuel is no help at all. Thanks
Greg

Both engine and gearbox drain plugs are on the gearbox pan. They both look the same 5/8" hex head and a small recessed Allen in the center and no other bolts on the bike look like them. The engine oil drain is the one on the leading edge with the head pointing forward right next to a pipe plug. The gearbox drain is hidden in a recess with the head of the plug pointing down next to the right side frame rail.

The primary drain is a 40Torx under the derby cover, it's the only Torx of that size on the outer primary.
