Anyone running Hurricane Chrome Moly Push Rods in their built motors? Would like to run those in my 02 95 cub. in, with 590 lift cams. My Sreaming Eagle push rods seem to be making contact with the push rod tubes. Not bent but with the high lift cam I think at 7/16 in. thick and the extreme angle created I would like a smaller diameter stronger push rod.

I can't speak to the NRHS pushrods, but I'm running Smith Brothers and they are very nice!

I've used NRHS many times and their products are top notch, plus you can't find anyone better to work with than Dan.

NO, need two piece push rod covers. Had these from my SE adjustable push rods.

Smith Bros. part #AHD79SB-TCF1-K.
Single taper 7/16 to 5/16 dia.
Fits under the stock push rod tubs.
$144.
Done.

Screaming Eagle push rods 7/16 inch thick, rubbing on inside of push rod tube. Need smaller diameter push rod. Hurricane push rods chrome moly and only 3/8 thick.

I'm using FuelMoto pushrods and I'd bet a nut that they're made by Smith. They are definately nice and seeming a lot stouter than the SE rods I used last time.

Granted the SE Adjustables went forever without problem but the FM ones look to be a higher quality product.

I've heard they are made by Smith also.
