I the new NFG today........just bought a used 2000 FLHTCUI and it sounds like a 88 cu in Briggs and Stratton lawnmower. I took a pick inside the stock cans and I see a baffle with an 1/8" hole in it and its about 7.5 " from the end of the can. Is this the stock configuation or did the previous owner knock out the first baffles? Thanks.

Sounds like they poked a hole in it to make it sound better. It wont work, a friend tried it on his.
I'm running Screamin Eagle's on my 95" 2000 Ultra and it sounds good. The guy that tried poking holes in his has Vance and Hines on his and it sounds good too.
A lot of them around here run V&H and dont have to remap and they run just fine.
Remember when you change things on a FI you need to remap every time, so if you are going to change things do it all at onece to save money on remaping.

Alot of police bikes have their baffles knocked out of the stock mufflers and they never sound good. Invest in some slip-ons..:)
