New plug wires

I went to the Moroso Performance factory near my house to check out better plug wires.
I have a new 2013 Softail Deluxe and wanted to upgrade the wires.
They tested the factory wires and the readings were:

11400 ohms for the long 19" wire
2880 ohms for the 6.5" wire

We then tested a set of their 8.65mm ULTRA 40 wires.

The Moroso 19" wire showed 64.5 ohms
The 6.5" wire read 22.5 ohms.

This is a huge difference. The wires look great, I got the sleeved set.

They had not seen a 2013 yet so the package was a part #28329, which says 2000-06 Softail. They fit perfect and Moroso was going to add this model year to their part listing.

Looking around the usual places, Jegs, J&P etc, I really didn't see a lot of high performance wires out there and none certainly that I tested.

The Moroso wires are exactly as advertised, 40 ohms per foot and very high quality.

If you don't see them advertised yet and want this affordable upgrade you could always contact them directly from their website to be sure you get the correct wires (if you have a 2013). They make replacement wires sleeved and unsleeved and I think you can get black and blue sleeves. Not sure about that. I like the black look so I didn't ask.

Nice wires. I had a set on my Dyna before but wanted to pass along real numbers from a meter. I have no financial interest in Moroso. Just a happy repeat customer and glad they are nearby. Always a fun place to visit.
ther are no better plug wires than oem. foo-foo can destroy your motor.

cto, something you should know. the ion swnsor will cause the ecm to pull timing or throw a code depending on resistance or lack thereof. pull timinfg and created heat. heat causes detonation which pulls more timing which creates more heat which causes it to pull more timing, yada yada yada, so, plug wires can cause engine meltdown. now go install a bunch of foo foo junk and holler back.
