New 03 Fat Boy Leaking Fluid
I noticed a small puddle (half dollar size) on the garage floor that seems to be coming from a hose which is pointed downward located right behind the primary. This is a brand new 03 Fat Boy with 200 easy miles on it. Does not seem to be oil, but could be tranny fluid. Is this just some kind of overflow protection or something more serious?

on my heritage to drain the oil for an oil change there is a hose on the right side that you take the stopper out of and drain. maybe this is the leaking hose you are talkin about? maybe the hose clamp is loose or something?

It`s your trans. vent tube.

Bluedeuce4................is it normal then to see a little overflow from that trans vent tube?

Nothing to worry about. If the trans. was overfilled the vent tube will spit it out. This is normal. Woking as it was design to. Good Luck

must have been the vent tube......does not do it any more .....thanks
