A couple of guys I know at work got together today at lunch, and were rasin' me about my new vrod. All good natured fun mind you.

They said vrod was not a proper name for a Harley. There is the panhead, shovelhead, vrod? No no that will not do. The name should be...... waterhead.

Anyone else had a nickname come up?

I have always called it the "Waterboy"

BTW there is one sitting at the local dealer, MSRP and $1350.00 for freight and prep, small scam as these things go. It has been there for almost two weeks.

Hippo-

I woulda thought they could get that easy based on what people are paying on Ebay, etc. Or maybe the Ebay buyers are afraid to go into a "biker shop". Hell, you should snap it up and re-peddle it to some rich dude.

Not my style. I try to make deals on my bikes, but that's just so I can afford what I want to ride.

They claim they sell ALL their bikes at MSRP, which is only half truth as you can see, but preserving it is probably more important to them then a couple grand extra profit.
