Hello everyone, I was recommended to this forum by springer-

I have lived in Texas pretty much all of my life, and started out riding motocross bikes at 9, and racing motocross from there on out. For the last few years now I have been riding metric cruisers, but decided I wanted a shovel head and have been doing A LOT of research. I'm hoping to have one sitting in my garage before next fall and will hopefully have it ready to go for winter, the only REAL riding season in Texas! It seem's that there is a wealth of information here to read and learn from, and I'm looking forward to it.

Welcome aboard fellow Texan. I ride almost all year long so I beg to differ about your comment, "winter, the only REAL riding season in Texas!"

Haha, I ride year round as well, for 99% of everything I do, it's just it gets so hot during the summer it can be torture at times... but it's still better than being in a cage!
