I've heard this from the local dealer and read it on the internet. Anybody got any proof or is it just rumours? If it's true what are your thoughts?

The talk was for 2003, now its 2004. The Mo Co wont say intill late in the year, it might hurt Sporty sales now. One things for sure, it will be a hot item for awile if they make a new Sporty.

I think that the MoCo is very reluctant to make too many changes to the Sportster that
may cut into their Big Twin sales such as a
rubber mounted engine or a different engine
all together, but whatever they do I'll stick
with what I got. I'm happy.

Do you see any downside to putting the Buell engine in a Sportster? I can't think of one. They need a shot of HP. and it should take care of some of the vibration problems as well?
