I also have the Ness Kit on my bike. One thing I did was to paint the screws black so the blended in and now do not draw the eye toward them.
One down note is that your feet are positioned differently but the brake is at the same angle in relation to the pegs as stock. The shift lever you can adjust, the brake you cannot.
I still like the controls and it is worth every penny.
I've had the Ness extension kit on my bike for almost 2 years. I'm on 5'9", but I like to be able to stretch out. I also added the Kuryakyn Switchblade footpegs which have the heel rests that flip down when you want them and fold up and hidden when you don't. No complaints so far with the Ness kit.
