I have a '98 FXSTS with a BDL 3" belt drive. My clutch hub took a crap and the splines inside stripped out. The splines on the tranny main shaft look fine. I have a new one on order and it should be in soon. Not having a service manual (kicking self in butt right now), I was wondering if any of you that may have one, could tell me what the torque specifications are for the front engine nut. Also if anyone has installed this kit, what should the nut in Pict.-5 on BDL site http://www.beltdrives.com/guide12.htm be torqued to.

Typically the torque for the compensator nut is 150 to 165 ft/lbs and the lefthanded clutch nut is 70 to 80 ft/lbs, but you may want to verify the values for a specific model bike or modified compenents. Clean the threads and use red Loctite.
