My brother has an 05 FXDWG with the crappy stock lower fork legs, we want to use Deuce lower legs on it (chrome, smooth) - can we just swap them out? Who knows this answer? Any other suggestions?

First thing to consider is the diameter of the upper tube. I think the WG has narrower tubes than the Deuce. But, if they are the same, check the length of the lower where it seats. Should be a go, but I am not experienced in this swap, even tho I have a Deuce and a WG. I just polished the lowers of the WG... looks much better. Good luck.

Yes, they are a direct bolt-on. The fork tubes, wheel , and axle are all exactly the same size. The only difference is the front fender. The Deuce and Wideglide have different bolt patterns for the fender. You'll either have to go without a front fender or pick one up that came off a Deuce. If you watch ebay for a little while, you can probably buy one already painted the color you need.
